1930's
Throughout the 1930's the National Billiards Championships were played in various states.
1936 saw the emergence of Robert James Percival (Bob) Marshall from Western Australia - he would dominate Amateur Billiards in Australia for many years winning a total of 19 National Billiards titles and one Snooker Championship.
His highest tournament break was 702 made in Brisbane 1953.
Bob also won four World Amateur Billiards Championships.
